The Max Rubner-Institut, location Kiel, invites you to participate in the 2nd Kiel Food Science Symposium and to submit contributions for oral presentations or posters. The symposium will be held from May 22-23, 2012, at the Max Rubner-Institut in Kiel. It will start at 1:00 pm on May 22, 2012, and ends at 1:00 pm on May 23, 2012. Official language of the symposium will be English.
The Kiel Food Science Symposium takes place in a 2-year rhythm. The aim of this international symposium is:
- to offer a scientific platform for representatives from academia, industry, food authorities and policy,
- to stimulate the presentation of up-to-date research activities,
- to obtain information on new developments and
- to exchange views with colleagues from many countries on scientific progress and applications.
The symposium will address various aspects of scientific research on:
- Functional Food (fi rst day)
- Food Safety (second day)
with a focus on dairy products and seafood.
